What is Homoeopathy?

Tired of conventional medicine? Are you looking for something more?

Homoeopathy is a Medical Science. A system of Medicine using a unique and highly individualised approach to each patient. In use for over 200 years, homoeopathic medicine works by stimulating the body’s own natural tendency to heal itself. Homoeopathic treatment is based on the laws of similars “like cures like”. Its philosophy is that the body, mind and emotions are not separate parts of a person, but are one entity, and therefore the homoeopath seeks to observe a pattern in the disharmony which is reflecting the complete individual, mind, body and emotions.

Homoeopathy can help where other forms of medicine may have failed or the side effects have caused additional problems. Homoeopathy can benefit anyone from newborns right through to the elderly, and can be safely used in pregnancy.

A patient does not have to believe in homoeopathy for it to work. Homoeopathy works on newborn babies and animals; two places where a placebo effect cannot operate! Homoeopathy is used by millions of people across the world, and is also used by conventional doctors that prescribe homoeopathic medicines for their patients. It is an established system of medicine, and is recognised as such by the WHO, NHS, FDA, and the TGA.

The World Health Organisation defines health as a state of complete physical, mental, and social wellbeing, not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. This definition provides a positive range of health well beyond the absence of sickness.
